hey guys,
ive read around about my smoke problem and going to try an ecu reset on my integra just to see if that makes a difference

umm...how do you do it?

ive read you disconnect the negative terminal of the battery and then wait for 20 -30 mins after that turn it on let it idle for 15 mins and then go for a drive.

OR

- unhook the -ve connector of the battery or simply disconnect ur ecu...
- step on the brakes so that the brakes light drains any stored power in the car's electrical system...
- put back the - ve connector of the battery..
- turn on the ignition key on for 5 seconds then back off for 3 consecutive times....

after thats done.. u gotta go thru the idle learn procedure..
which is as follows..
- start the car
- allow engine to run till its reached optium running temp... usually when the temp guage reaches just under half way...
- n if u got a/c.. turn on for 10 secs..
- turn off ignition.. n ur done

Which one are you meant to do or do both work?

Umm... is the car meant to be cold when you do this? Or warm... and when driving the car are you meant to drive conservatively or gun it ?

thanks!

pull out the radio back up fuse in your fuse box for a few mins then put it back in and hey presto.

20 t0 30 min is way to long
it only takes 20 to 30 seconds
