pay me 1000 bucks & ill look for the instruction manual in your room
hahaha
firstly find the manual and do some light reading.......if you can't find it ring up Pioneer head office for aftersales service or at least your local strathfield car audio or something similar, they may be able to give you some advise or maybe do it for you for a few bucks or maybe like what i suggested.........hehehehe

Not exactly sure of what you're asking but heres 2 links for the PC Link software which you'll need to create the files which you burn onto a CD.
Blue OEL (http://www.pioneer.co.jp/car/pclink3a/index-e.html)
Colour OEL (http://www.pioneer.co.jp/car/pclink3b/)
Otherwise if you're just wanting to know how to upload from the CD onto your HU I think it was hold the "display" and "EQ" button when the HU is OFF. I'll verify this later when I get home. But yea, for sure its the "display" button plus some other button.

Hey yea, it is hold down the display and EQ button at the same time when the HU is off. For mine I need to hold down the Source button to switch the HU off. Hold down them 2 buttons then it will go into download mode and ask you to insert a CD, after doing so it will start downloading. This will take sometime so just sit back and relax.
Make sure that your HU does support downloading new displays. You can check it on the Pioneer website if you're not sure, otherwise give me the model number and I'll have a look for you.
To start off you'll need to download the PC Link software. If your HU has blue OEL use the blue oel link, if its colour oel use the colour oel link. You can also download additional displays through the same link.
Once you have the software install and run it. There will be a few tools which you can use to make your own displays. But if you're just interested in burning the displays you have downloaded from the website, just go straight to the tool titled "Make LKA". Now just select "Open LKD" and browse to where you have downloaded the displays then it will pop up on the list. Select the file from the list and click on the arrow down button and choose OK to register when asked. Once you're done click on the "Write LKA File" button and the file will be saved to your comp and it should open up a window where the file is located. If not it can be found in the install directory under the folder "archives". File name will be "ent_disp.lka".
(You can only have one custom Movie and BGV (those equaliser thingos) at a time, sucks but eh.)
Next just burn that file onto a CD R/W and download it into your HU using the above method.
Btw, I'm not sure if holding the Display and EQ button applies to your headunit, but I would assume is something pretty similar so just have a go Display plus another button is EQ doesnt work. You'll need to hold it down for a few seconds.
Hope that helps.
