Hey guyz,
i have some shocks that i came across today for my civic... and have never heard or seen of them b4 and cant find any specs or info bout them.
There is a sticker on them that says "MUGEN INTEGRATE SHOCK ABSORBERS"

Does any one know anything about these Mugen shocks? Are they oil or Gas shocks? Are they softer or stiffer?? any help would be great thanx.

afaik , MUGEN and SPOON have always used OEM parts, and simpyl improved in efficiency for a more race-based approach. Taking this into consideration - Like OEM shocks I Do not think these shocks are rebuildable at all.

intresting, i thought as they are mugen that they would be fairly good.
are they better than stock?
if they are gas the can be rebuilt.

so that would mean that are better than stock if mugen improved on OEM parts. does any1 know in what ways they are better. they seem smaller to me than original shocks.

i think they would be gas as on my subau i had oem bilstein shocks as it was limited edition and they were pretty much identical to normal ones except they were yellow and gas. just an thought,

mugen and spoon ahocks are not OEM , they merely got it build by SHOWA which is honda factory shocks supplier.
