i think its meant to be 14.5 or thereabouts
ive done 14.69 on stock tyres with balding tread and i also didnt have the cover on my airbox either (cos i wanted to hear the fully sick intake noise instead of sucking in cold air)

s2000 arnt really meant to be a 1/4 car...weak diff doesnt really allow for hard lauching either...

Iv seen a nissan diff conversion for a s2000... i beleive it was done by a member here at ozhonda, has a 300rwkw blue turbo monster.
Stock stook's, can get below 14.5... f20c's have done 14.2 stock in the US, with better preped strips. I doubt he would launch at anything over 5000 rpm... if he wants to keep his dif alive.
Plus in the real world, launching hard doesnt help a whole lot...
"Fly" what color is your s2000, plus how are you liking it?

i've heard the stock s done around low 14 at the track
the s2k does better on the street
i've done 13.3 or 13.4 @ 117mph with stock diff and axles at 15psi
I will be relaunching the car soon....hopefully at 25psi :D

What's the weak part of the diff?
We've got one here but I've never bothered trying to drag it. And the forum nazi won't accept telemetry data as a time slip!

I have teamed up with the local motorsport engineering shop, www.kandamotorsport.com.au and produced a solution for the weak diff, cv and axles.
BTW I will not be launching at 25psi as planned. I think I have enough enough power at 20psi, there is no need to push that envelope yet.
