can someone tell me if 18' wheels on a lowered eg civic sedan will rub

even if the guards are rolled cause the guys at the tyre shop seem to think that it wont.

215/45/17s 43-45 offset rims rub, standard height.. if you get the right offest and thinner tires you maybe ok but with 18s it would rub for sure.

my fren had an EG hatch with 18s. with the guards rolled.. they still rubbed...
such a pain in the neck to drive like that.. especially when you have to chuck a U-turn or do a 3 point turn..

it shouldnt rub if u get them rolled & lipped
is your car lowerd?
make sure u dont lower the car too low..

18's will rub, it all comes down to how soft your suspension is.
I have 19's on my 93 civic sedan and I had to change my suspension for coilovers, and modify front and rear bar so that the tyres didnt rip off the kit.

my mate just got 18 inch for hes ek civic it low as the guards have been rolled and it does not rub i have 17 inch low as eg hatch with no rubbing at all i have full camber kit that helps

Your wheels will look great but you'll pay through your ass for rubber, champ!

Tires are expensive when you get to that sort of profile. To put it into prespective 205/45/16 were $210 each for Goodyear eagle F1
