Hi all,
This may be in the wrong section but I don't know who else to ask.
I hope I don't get introuble for asking this but here we go...
Does anyone know where I can get a blue slip in the eastern 'burbs of Sydney easily?
I cancelled the rigistration on my CRX to swap the plates without thinking. today i tried to obtain a blue slip and I was told my car is too low, I have a million thoughts running through my mind but don't know what to do. I bought it as is and now it's time to sell I have this headache.
I would preffer not to spend any money on this car, I just want to register it so I can drive it for a few weeks and the sell it. I thought maybe restore it back to a stock condition but this would take a bit of time and money.
I really didn't know any better when I bought it and any help would be great, PM me if it's more subtle :o

just drive aroudn to mechanics and ask them.
Every place is the same.....but it helps if u know the guy personally IMO.
Otherwise raise your car then lower it again after lol.
Good luck

Well it's been lowered, has extractors and cat back exhaust. Wheels are 16s and has body kit and tints.
I wont ever buy a modified car again. I would preffer to do it myself and make things easier. At least now i know what I am getting into!

It's higher than 10cm at it's lowest point, the front bar, from the ground but the guy measured from the middle of the wheel to the wheel arch and showed me the RTA requires this car to be 320mm or 32cm in that spot. I think it was too low by 30mm or 3cm. Doesn't leak and I have added a tip to the exhaust to clear my rear bar.
i don't want to spend money on suspension or anything as I don't intend to keep it for long... Just want to get it registered as is, sheet the people I bought it from put rego on it and now I can't... I guess you need to be in the trade, huh?

just have a hunt around for mechanics that can do blue slips. Blue slips are a pain in the ass, cause they go over everything with a fine tooth comb (well most do). If the car is structualy sound, and engine is in good order, then there shouldn't be problem with most mechanics. Just keep trying!
