do you have any pics?
i have a 99 vtir, could someone take some pics for me?

srs doesnt always come on for me, only some times, and not for 8 seconds. abs doesnt come on at all...not sure about pgmfi....any ideas?

did a ecu diagnostic and got 6 beeps - coolent temperature, which is understand able cos i think i have the thermostat problem. I also have a minor idle problem, where my sometimes my idle hunts between 1000, and 1500 rpm.

any ideas?

cheers

The idle problem can be because of the Thermostat. the choke would be kicking in cause the car thinks the engine is cold.

EFI cars dont have a choke, they have cold start enrichment, where the ecu richens the fuel mixture and raises the rpms. rich mixture can cause rpm hunting. the thermostat will not cause code 6 ( ECT ) if code 6 comes up on the PGMFI light you will have to test you Engine Coolant Temp sensor to make sure its functioning

six beeps is just the normal ignition on beeping.
the PGMFI is the orange light with a picture of an engine.
if that didnt blink then there are no codes in your ecu.

when you say you did an ecu diagnostics, you mean you plugged in the short connector ????
