about 50 bucks at places like jbi hifi
you can do it urself.... to make it easier you can buy those wiring harness from repco/supercheap for like 20-30 bucks
all you have to do is pull out the stock one and put it in

Can you define "nothing fancy just a quick install" in regards to the head unit?
You mean you want a dodgy install or a correctly done one? All deck looms should look like these (http://www.fastfoursforumscarclub.com/temp/fhrxstudios/photogallery_int.asp#interest1). :D
well its just installing the head unit, i hate playing around with wires..... tried doing it once in my other car and ended up still bringing it to somone hahha!!!

nooooo not JB....
JB are good at dodgying things up. My friend got a stereo installed there, later he found out they didnt solder any connections and some of it was held in with TAPE....

Around the $50 mark is about right, but I would take the car to someone that’s got a reputation in installing high end car audio equipment. Because often I find that the cheaper places do doggy jobs, numerous times I have found myself fixing up there work.

someone asked about sub and amp installs? do them yourself, they are NO HARDER than cabling up a computer. Power to amp, earth from amp, RCAs to amp, then wires to speakers. Simple enough?

with the information available on teh net, you should consider giving it a try yourself.
Atleast with your own car you will take alot more care than most of the monkeys that work at stereo stores. (yes I am generalising even though i am sure there are plenty of great stereo installers working at these store............. one day I hope to come across one)

well. if your a first timer to audio installs, i recommend you get a mate or pro to do it, then watch him.
like everyone else says, its usually 50-60 per job. so yeh =)
which headunit are u looking at getting?

If your going to get it done take it somewhere with a good reputation. Not JB. Sure they can install your deck but you really don't want to see how they actually do it :(
I'm not sure what options you have done there, but i'd be heading for someone that only deals with car audio and that's it :)
