I've got a 91 eg 1.5 twin carb civic thats done around 210k wat oil should i use?
Should i get Honda 10-30W or is that to thin?
Which would be the best engine oil for my car? brand & spec? eg. 10-30,10-40, 15-40 etc.

on a carbie with that much milage i'd use prob a 10-40w or 15-40w just check that the engine has not chewed up the oil. If not go higher 25-50w.

just put anything in there man its not gonna make diff ur engines done mo than 200k and its carbie, the important thing is to change it often (10k max) and watch it so its not losing oil. i use magnetec with mine but my cars onli done 130k so u prob should use somehting higher like limbo said.

10-30w is way too thin for that age engine

Just get Magnetic, Helix Plus or just any branded semi-synthetic oil would be fine for the age of your engine, no need to get Motul.
Ryco filter or Vavoline filter works fine, Z79 filter I belive it is.

Shell Helix Plus 15W40 (in a grey bottle) is quite good. It may sound thick, but the engine actually was smoother and revved more freely than using Castrol GTX2 which I think is less viscous.
i have a '91 1.5L twin carby ED, have about 300K and 15W40 goes good with it
use a Honda filter
are there much price differences in OEM and aftermarket filters (ie, repco)?

I wouldnt bother paying extra for OEM filters, not much diff neways.
I used to use Castrol GTX2 on my single carby EL1600, works a treat. I cant remember what viscosity im using now, dad gets it from work....pretty sure its the same.
