Ok heres some questions for the Hondata and nitrous specialists.
On top of buying a nitrous kit what other things do u have to buy to run it in a b16a? Fuel reg? New injectors?

I would also be running a s200 Hondata and I’m curious how Hondata has nitrous control?
Does it ajust the fuel map as well as control the nitrous solenoid?

What’s safe to run on stock internals? 75hp?

What are some the kits that ppl are running?

What are the sorts of prices the ppl have paid for there kits in Australia and what did the kits include?

And if I want to run more nitrous at a later stage what internal engine improvements do I need to do?

Hey man,

The safest way to do it, is get your self some 440cc injectors (or 550’s but 440’s are heaps) along with a intake walbro fuel pump. Whilst you can get away without a fuel regulator I wouldn’t recommended it due to the fact you have chosen nitrous, lately on low boost turbo applications iv left off the fuel reg as there not fully requied but I deferentially recommended something like the AEM bolt on reg or a paradox race reg (but for your case the AEM is more than enough)

Excellent choice on s200 Hondata, I’m in the process of setting up my reselling workshop in Adelaide so you will have a local tuner and installer soon, but if your project requires immediate attention ill fly over and do everything personally for you.

The Hondata nitrous control tells the solenoids to open / close ( you set the size of the shoot from the solenoid settings )
Hondata can activate the solenoid on the following options

Minimum engine speed, Minimum engine load (mbar) minimum throttle and minimum vehicle speed, along with upper limits such as maximum engine speed and maximum load, all of these settings allow you to only delivery the nitrous shoot within specifications.

When you activate the nitrous Hondata will automatic enrich the fuel mixtures and retard the ignition dependent on the amount injected.

The way I tune nitrous cars is tune them for NA first then work the boosted / nitrous part, together it gives you a very top end or off the line punchy car, although highly illegal and very dangerous.

Any Dry nitrous setup kit can be brought as they are all compatible with Hondata, 75HP is safe in moderation along with the correct fuel, I would run between 50 and 75 with race fuel to keep things safe.
To run more HP shoot in the future you will need to rebuild your engine from ground up, forged pistons, forged rods this will allow you to run 150shot easy, if you want to run more you must sleeve your block, this is a expensive process but once you do that your good for mega nitrous.
Along with the engine rebuild you will need new bearings / gaskets and you should put an new oil pump / water pump replace all your blets etc…. gets very expensive.

Hope that information helps

Nope only Australia units, there are major differecnes between the US hardware the the Australia hardware on the software coding level.

Just a quick question, why would you want to run NOS anyway? unles its for show, but to actualy use it? I mean your screwing up your engine even with NOS kits that try to make things as safe as possible.
