Hey all,

I've got a 93 prelude and im planning to fit in a POD, the drama is that it won't fit onto the stock intake pipe..can i get an adapter to fit it into the stock intake out to a 3inch for the POD or do i need to get the whole intake system?

Cheers

firstly what pod is it? i know with the hks mushrooms and the a'pexi power intake offer a range of adapter sizes that bolt on to the back of them... Not too sure what the prelude intake pipe looks like tho

my mate installed my k&n pod filter, he just sawed off the airbox, squeezed the pod in and used clamps from the servo. hose clamps should do the job. it was a 94 jdm prelude.

my bought my car with the pod pushed onto a sawed off stock pipe.
At first I thought the pod would be better then stock airbox.
but having it there I found that, it was sucking not enough air same time it's hot,
the power of the car dramastically changed,
it started drinking more fuel.

just give it a cold air feed
nothing wrong with the simota or the ebay piping.. if ur worried about heat absorption... just - spray it with the high temp spray which u use on ur brakes...
- wrap that thing up with sum thermo wrap (good stuff)
- leave it stock n use a panel filter n have a cold air feed to it.

Can you give me links or pictures where i can DIY Cold air intake for the 93 prelude, i know there is an airduct that is located underneath the stock airbox, but the way to run the pipe i have no idea..thanks
