MY guess woudl be that he is referring to the local Ozzy Si , 91-93 honda civic model, which came with a d16a8 DOHC , good for 96kw and 144nm of torque.

Milk - Are you after the engine OR the car ? Either way is a good thing...nippy lil motors - I ve got one myself, and with simple mods I have beaten EK4 Vtir's, other similar cars, a supa-quick golf gti and destroyed a vti:P

Aussie EG Si is a DOHC non-VTEC. 130bhp (I've also seen a few early 2nd gen Aussie CRXs with the Si badge on - same motor and rating).
US Si ED (4th gen Givic) SOHC running MPFI (non-VTEC) 110bhp
US EM1 (coupe) Si is DOHC VTEC (160bhp)
JDM Si from '84-'87 and from '88-'91 (Civic and CRX) is a DOHC non-VTEC ZC (130 - 135ps)

Prolly more of them if anyone wants to add to it.

EF8/9 SiR('89-'91 - they never came out in '88) is 160ps (158 bhp). Most people just convert the ps to bhp without using the equation for it.

The '88-'91 "Si" was 130-135 bhp DOHC non-VTEC. The EF series is huge, more so when you factor in the "specials" which were the base models of each line other than the SiR that came with things from leather interiors, to glasstops - right down to a special edition sticker.
