b18a rocker cover

wow my 2nd thread
LoL well the system is up and runnin.. pumpin hard!
i want to paint my rocker cover (b18a DA9 teg) in a couple days, just wondering if any1 has already done it, and if they know if the rocker cover gasket needs to b replaced once the cover comes off? if so, where would i b able to get a new 1? preferably in melb west/north west. and how much am i lookin at?

If the gasket comes off and is in good nick you won't need to replace it, although you will need to use some sort of sealing compound around it and on the spark plug gaskets to make sure you get a decent seal. If you do replace it, you can get non OEM quite cheaply from most auto parts stores, i think 30 bucks or so, it's been a long time, and I have a massive pile of receipts for the car, hehe.

haha yeah i know wat u mean... i just started a week ago... already got about 1500 worth of receipts. i get bored easy
