Just had my b18c tuned and my tuner noticed that I still had vaccum at full throttle and calculated it to equate to a 10 or more Kw. Would a spoon 70mm throttle do the trick not sure if there is that much of a gain from them. Are quad throttle bodies my only hope . this is a track car

Throttle body is one possibility, looking at intake manifolds, and intake restrictions, not 2 mention porting the intake side of your hear to suit, are other options, or even exhaust back pressure can play a effect. Remember Easy air in… easy flowing air out of the engine.

10kw loss thow on a NA engine is HEAPS of power hmm that’s a lil hard to believe

Type r manifold ... done..... Porting of head Done.....exhaust Done though prob not the best only 2.25 From a standard exhaust to this one i had a 15Kw gain . Hmm:p The engine has a had a fare bit of work done I think I have a miss matched part or something. Thought I might have melted the cat. Can only check one side of it and it was ok , still have good throttle response

1. make sure the TPS sensor is reading correct spec
.45V closed and 4.5V at WOT

2. Vacuum at WOT is not a strange occurance, possitive pressure is only possible is volumetric effeciency is > 100%

What size is the current throttle body and what HP did yo make?

It has only the vtir throttle body
It made 120Kw with Type r cams have got some bigger cams on order

from this can i assume that you had a stock VTiR throttle body on a ITR intake manifold?

& still made 120kW?

(sorry to drag up an old post...)
