EK Steering Wheel

Ok heres the 411.

Just bought an EK hatch. The steeringwheel is blistered due to sun damage. What i need i need is a new one/ or second hand... Ie: to replace it.

So how much and where can i get one?

get those grippy steering wheel thingies... the ones that u put on the outter edge... i believe 15-20 from autobarn haha
or if you look around you should be able to get a second hand aftermarket one for around 100 bux.. i've seen a few momo ones for that price.. boss kit add ~50 bux

Cheapest would be to put a aftermarket wheel on it, although for insurance purposes etc, you'd better check that taking the airbag out of the car will not void your insurance.

Or else its a trip to Honda, where you should bring a tub of Vaseline with you.

I dont know if Honda would fit a second hand steering wheel to your car (one from the Wreckers)

if it has a airbag, then your going to get a light on with a warning if you take off the steering wheel... i think it also illegal to do so... if you want to get it done properly, bring it back to the honda factory and they can replace it for you... its going to cost a bit tho... :P if you dont care about safety etc, then just go into a place that installs aftermarket steering wheels and tell them to wack one on with a boss kit :P

EG6 steering wheel does not fit EK. But you can get one from an S2000 or Prelude.
