body kit on eg sedan

hey people.

quick q about aftermarket front bars on a eg sedan.
did any of your guys have to take out the bumper re-inforcement to make em fit?

what bumper reinforcement r u talking about?

a metal beam that bolts on to the radiator support via 4 12 mm bolts.
right behind the front bar, which also has also has 2 small metal re-infrocements for the headlights, mounted on it.

i think they remove that because the kit wont fit with it on. i know i didnt have mine

Yep i had to remove that reinforcement bar to fit my front bar on

just a reality check... you do realise how dangerous it is to drive around without that reinforcment bar? i know i've been saved by it in the past when in an accident.

^^^ true that - the front end realy weak without it - speaking from exp ahaha

most aftermarket kits need the reinforce bar removed..

yeah bro it has to be taken off , but it also depends on what style kit you get
