i was gonna add some bucket seats into my 5th gen accord

can anyone show me how to go about's doing this..

and has anyone got spare rails or brackets they are selling???

Don't quote me on this, but if you get bucket seats and install them yourself i've heard that you need to get an engineers certificate.

Makes sense though.

I'm pretty sure you will need an engineer's certificate as the bucket seats weren't a factory fitment. You will need custom brackets and i'd say custom rails as i don't know many manufacturers that make bucket seats for Accords... :shock:

Why would you want bucket seats anyway mate, is your car really that quick? :P

take note:

when you get an engineers cet. he doesn't just engineer the seats he has to pass the whole car..

so be warned

if ya gonna do it, might aswell save yaself the hassle and get a shop to fit it for u and do all the dirty work :D

my car issnt quick
just i have leather seats and i slide eerywhere in them

2. i like the bucket seat hugging etc...

who would install buckets seats BTW

any recomendations??

well try places that sell bucket seats. they would install or should kno of ppl who can do it for u. they have their own contacts usually.

okay guys.. i got told

have a reclinable bucket seat is legal
cause i see crappy barinas with autotechnica seats and shit
haha its funny

but anywayz back to my car..

hmm i want some recaros :) so comfy...

wrx buckets usually are a bit cheaper and are a good set of seats.... a few people sell them on other forums...

yes, no doubt Ken that having bucket seats are legal on those cars because they came out of the factory with 'em and have been certified by an engineer.
