well in perth there is a "rip off" shop selling its replica made of fibre glass for $1500 unpainted.
It is indeed cheaper than Honda's price, but that kind of fibre glass replica add on kit should worth AT MOST $1000 unpainted

I just added a pic of my Euro to the Accord Gallery on OzHonda. Sorry I don't know how to link the image into this thread.

The body kit is OEM.

Cheers

Paul

You're not necessarily going to get them all in Australia, but if you're looking for ideas I always have a look at

http://gallery.bussert.dyndns.org:81/TSXBody

It's a TSX gallery which has loads of images. The link here is straight to the body kits gallery. There's also a really good wheels gallery for those who wonder what their car might look like with "those wheels"...

Does anyone have any suggestions (brands?) for a subtle body kit which isnt OEM?
The only other one I can think of is maybe the Euro R body kit...

here are al the bodykits that i know of that exist for euros

OEM
Euro R
Luckystar
Mugen (full bumper replacement OR grille/mugen lip combo)
JP Vizage
Phase
Kenstyle

A subtle one would either be JP or kenstyle. both look hot IMO

OEM (Honda Genuine) front lip come in painted from Honda Factory, so the colour match is perfect. should be around $800, If you get it when u buy the car, you should ask for trade price...

With Mugen, you have 2 options for front end... Full bumper replacement, OR add on front lip... Both look very nice.. Once again, Mugen 's kits come painted or un-painted.

hmm ive been thinking about this topic for a while as well.

the euro is just stock atm. but ive allways liked the idea of a bodykit.

so i have 2 options?

1. get the full oem front bodykit
or
2. just get the oem lip ?

or are they the same thing ?

ps: heres a side by side comparision: stock vs bodykit

Kam, the oem kit is so expensive. If i had my time again i'd be tempted to go for euro-R for a similar price (i prefer that over the full-on kits like the mugen)

sayin that though its a nice kit and it suits the car really well. I think the euro-R grille is a really nice adition to the car too, tidies up the front end heaps, the stock grille is a bit gaudy... chrome :thumbdwn:

lol, i remember one asking someone on this forum what the difference between the OEM euro kit, and the Euro-R kit was, and the answer they gave me was:

"same same, but different"

i still cant see the difference between our oem kit, and the euro-r kit :(

The Euro R kit isn't as chunky as the one we get here. The side skirts are a slightly different shape (deeper at the front go up and back down, whereas ours just flair back), and the front lip is styled slightly differently (has two pronounced inlets and also covers the black surround of the foglights).

Look closely at the lip here compared to the silver one above:

tip: if you want to post an image, its the same as posting the URL of the image, just put URL tags so the pic actually shows up :)

woooo that euro-r kit looks way nicer than oEM kit :D

i like how it covers the black fog light parts, so its now color coded..

its kinda crappy how we only get black fog light surrounds here, cuz if u dont have a black euro, its stands out and looks odd, especially if ur euro is white :thumbdwn:

i think i'd prefer the OEM lip. the euro-r does look nice though.

Hehehhe Too bad u have a silver colour car Timbo, u don't have to worry about the spotlight surrond on a black car...

I say go for painting it Timbo, along with ur rocker cover :0P What colour were u thinking???

i am currently looking for an exact replica of the full oem lip bodykit for my euro.

the factory was asking $4000 for the full kit, but i dont need the spoiler

i am hoping to be able to get the oem replica lip kit for about $1500 painted.

does anyone know of places in sydney that do this?

I'd be interested too if that's the price we can get it!

i remember a dealer having a replica of the euro-r kit available. Have a look through the trader section for more info i guess.

Also, it was made from polyurethane not fiberglass which is better.

I know Talon make a replica kit for the euro (fibreglass). Not sure how much though. Ring up Tynan Honda in Sutherland for more info... i know their spare parts department can definitely get access to these kits.
