i dont have a vafc, but what i'd do is block off the spare DIN hole with perspex/carbon firbe/alloy, and stick it right there, so its under the HU, just an idea

I was looking around in the cabin and theres really no where to place it besides all the places you guys mentioned. Faijai placement of the VAFC will interfere with the use of the ash tray and cup holder. I like nipnip idea, but i'm not very good with these DIY projects. :( Has anybody placed their VAFC in the spare DIN hole? if yes, plz explain to me how u did it. thnx

Put in in the Dash. That way people dont see it. Its not something you fiddle with once its dialed in, so noo need to expose it.

It depends on whether you think, someone will want to steal it if its in plain view. When I had my safc in the car, I put it in the glove box. Better not to be seen, then for the car to be broken into and it stolen.

Thnx for the input guys. I'm going to go with the ash tray placement. It looks very clean like that. Anybody knows of a place that can install and tune one of these in Syd? I was going to go install and road-tune it at Bel Garage for $360. But not sure now. Any recommendations?
