Will a Mugen air box fit a DC2 VTi-R or will it only fit a Type R? As well what is the situation with air conditioning and the Mugen air box? If it won't fit, then will the Comptech Ice Box?

Thanks

im sure someone has mentioned the A/C problem before and has made a solution somewhere on the site just a matter of searching it i guess...but from memory anyway i think its a matter of splitting the 2 A/C lines and putting the pipe between them...or something like that....=)

The AC problem isnt that bad. Just bend the lines a little.

Yes...... something like that....... really no big deal....
But you could get more gains and cheaper by getting Injen CAI

You guys read american sites too much. RHD cars are free from the A/C pipe problems as far as I am concerned.

Can you please qualify this statement? Do you have examples of Injen over the Mugen?

I don't know of any high HP Integra's, ie 130kw plus at wheels using Injen, all use Mugen, with good reason.

Hmm...... i searched the forum long time ago, Injen CAI is kind of best bang of buck. Maybe you can try to search this forum, those threads should be still here :)

And i think one of the reasons why ppl use Mugen over Injen are........ they don't trust Injen or never heard of it

From first hand experience, AEM/Injen CAI do make gains over stock, but the Mugen makes more. The two intakes with best gains for Integra (apart from ITB's) are Mugen and ITG. But at $1000 they arent bang for buck like Injen at$550. Comptech is good too, but most people with first hand experience rate Mugen higher, especially with high lift cams.
