hey guys ive run a search and still couldnt find anything...i want to put some extractors on my Gli ek hatch but i was wondering...im doin an engine conversion in 6-12 months...prolly teg Type R or civic type R...still deciding(ur input would be appreciated on that too!)whether or not to get extractors cause if i did i would like them to go on the next engine.
So thanx for ur help in advance guys :D
they will not be interchangable mate. you have a d series in ur gli a CTR n ITR engine r B16B and B18C respectively b series and d series oarts are not interchangable.
save ur cash for the conversion.

yeh thats what i thoughtd happen..ok thanks for that anyways..
ok now with the eng...will the civic type R be easier to fit in and cost less with all the extras compared to the Teg Type R...i know i can get a civic for 2000-2500$...thats the only thing thats getting me...some ppl i know whove converted had some hassles with puttin a teg type R there which has kinda turned me off goin down that path..
do a serach there is shitloads of info about these exact conversions!!
and the b18c will not be much more difficult if any!!

as said, no point in putting extractors on as they won't be interchangable
BUT
you could get the rest of the exhaust system now, don't have to worry about it later when you do the swap :)

save ur time and just go with the B18C.. even the VTi-R B18C, not the Type R B18C7...
might as well do the VTi-R engine, better gains than the CTR engine..

its all about who u know and where they are :D my uncle lives in hong kong and races for a honda team..so they get the engines in and recondition them so he said hell get me one from there...good thing as well they import cars and engines over here so i prolly wont have to pay shipping... :) so u guys think the vtir ayy...cause i just thought with the b16 is it smaller than the b18?thats why i thought it would a much nicer easier fit ?

from SEARCHING..
i've found that the b16b is just a destroked b18c engine..
so in size, the b16a is smaller than the b16b..
