Some would seem like that, judging by post count, i have like none but know this place quite well...

Anyway thats a really good read, really shows how revolutionary honda can be when they try, because of that engine, variable valve timing is a common household thing.

the VTEC engine is designed for a target life of 15 years / 250,000kms.

AND 400,000 "VTEC y0" engagements.

I love it !

lol that means that you can VTEC 73 times a day ;)

(400,000 / 15yrs) / 365 = 73 :cool:

hms Im only VTEC'ing once or twice a day :p

Well thats applicable to the 1st gen b16a. So who knows what the current crop of K series are capable of :)
