[Euro] Squeak when shifting from 1-2.

I get a squeak sound when I shift from 1-2, not all the time, maybe 50%? Has anyone experienced this, especially those with a short shifter? It sounds that some part needs some lubrication. Should i lubricate at the pivot point or could it be some other part such as the linkage?
