idle problem

hey peeps any help or advice would be great!!

i have a gen 2 crx with a d16a8, and just recently it decided to idle funny, it goes up to 1500rpm then drops to 1000rpm and it does it every second, it sounds pretty cool though, but i just had it serviced and tuned 2 weeks ago.

any thoughts????

oh yeah the engine light came on too adn it flashed 7 times which is tha tps sensor??

do u search for IAVC, you will find a link to clean it out. It may not be the problem but at least then u will have eliminated the possiblity.

throttle position sensor...might be a bad sensor. FITV, do a seach for that too mate.

check out brake booster hoses, could b a vacuum leak. Mine was due to a rubber seal which was simi broken. Stoped that ennoying idle problem for my 89 prelude
