What to look for?

Hey,

I have just purchased an old SX16 integra. Plan to do motor conversion later on but fixing body at this stage.

Just wondering if there are any common problems found with this stock motor? I noticied the motor was idleing very high around 2,000rpm. Any thing I should look out for being an old motor with 220,000kms.

Any advise would be much appreciated.

id keep the current engine as its fairly decent. If your worried about the high idle I would get it serviced.

Current engine is bascially a DOHC ZC

dude, thats a stupid question look at the pic, its totally different. anyhow, i think you need to do a lot of research before you commit too much money to this car, they are getting old now and performance parts are not as common.

Whats the point, it isnt going to fit, different length, width, mounts are in a different place, latch lines up different. dont waste your time.
