How well do you think the value will hold on a DC2R say in 10 to 15 years
i mean when you look at the cars that came out the same time ie s14's and WRX's they seem to have dropped Heaps in value of late
also seeing how 1990's GTR's are now available for less then 20k and they were originally 110k
Just curious

Maybe you could go to Redbook and use the data to try to figure out the depreciation rate. a 10 years old dc2r........... 11-12k maybe ?
How long is a string?
Nobody can really predict mate.
The market value of a car is calculated by data collected by the local RTA from car sales both private and through dealerships, and published via redbook, etc.
My 2c. Pretty sure that's how that works though.

you cannot tell, but the thing with gtr's is look at the japanese market that was flooding our aussie market with imports. the more there are the more they deppreciate in price. hey maybe in 10-15 years we will have flying cars ;) :P

I was thinking they would hold there value well seeing how they are not eligeble to be imported from japan, and there are only 400 available, take away the ones thay used for racing and the smashed ones, that make for quite a rare car

LOL yes...... see how 86 beats 32, civic, type-r, rx-7, s2000, 34.....etc......
They don't worth a cent if the Initial D comics keep coming and coming

he said "1990"
previously you COULD import 89-90 gtr's for less than 20k. once they hit aus and they are complianced and licensed they goto 25k odd.
