Hi folks I'm new to this site and to moding my civic.
I'm looking for a trype-R style grill that will fit a 96 EK.
Any recomendations for places that would sell these in Melb or online?
Cheers

Hi and welcome.
Check the for sale threads as I remember that someone was selling one just recently. I am also sure that one of the vendors will be able to help you as well.

if not, try any random auto store. Auto pro/barn might b one place, or most car business ending with performance (not that a grille gives performance, bu eh).

Sorry to hi-jack the thread, what is a decent price to pay to spray paint the 96-98 type-R style grille? Got quoted $100.....seems pricey to me (about 3 times the price i paid for the grille!)...but i got nothing to compare it too...cheers!
Anyway to answer ur question, I've seen 99-00 type R style grilles go for $30 here......dunno why 96-98 would be that expensive.

Those prices are just for the grille yes? no painting? I bought some honda paint pretty cheap back home, paintin it urself shouldnt be too hard. Or you could try and source one off this site thats already been painted.

That how i've heard people do their EK grills. They say a steak knife is needed to do the job on the standard grill.
I"ve seen pics and looks as if its a whole new grill.
