anyone else have this prob... it hits the LONG ASS screw that they provide while your clutching.. and it doesnt clutch as well when it does...

anyone have this prob?

i took the clutch one off as it wasn't good for the clutch..

what would be the best way to fit the pedal (clutch only as you have to press all the way down) without using those LONG ASS screws?

Maybe replace it to some shorter screws
I don't have this problem

I was using JDM ITRx pedals

I found fitting the clutch pedal a bitch as well on the EG civic.
Just takes some creative manouvering.
My pedals are drilled and bolted down.

has anyone tried installing pedals on a 30+ degree day.. LoL
those things are hard to get on with the allen keys and stuff..
In my opinion, they suck because they dont feel solid, even if they do feel solid, they might get loose overtime. Unless you seriously like them.. like REAL BAD! LOVE THE pedalz!!

Your bolts are probably too long, you can file or cut them to size

how do u cut it without expensive equipment?

ekslut

I like aftermarket pedals  Just cut back the bolt or go to bunnings and get a new shorter one. If you dont have the equipment to cut back the bolt (angle grinder is easiest), then go to bunnings and find a new shorter bolt.

Just make sure your pedals have some sort of grip on the clutch & brake, its illegal unless they do, and it will make sure your foot does not slip off (this has happened to me)

Hack Saw blade...unless your bolts are stainless steel...

How do you guys deal with being further away from the steering wheel? With pedals on top, I'd have to move my seat back, then I wouldn't have a very good grip and controll on my steering wheel for those... er... interesting corners.

Is this a problem at all?

What are the differance between aussie dc2r pedals at the jdm dc2r (s2000) pedals? or are they the same?

hahaha..mine dont have screws..its like a little "claw".. u have to bend the metal strips around the pedal itself. they've all fallen off by now.and i cbfed putting them back on.

pop rivet them on is also a good solid way of putting them on, and you will not have the problem of bolts getting stuck.

i made my own pedals and i just used short screws on them and they were fine. The only occasional problem i get with pedals is if the floormat is sitting wrong and the pedal gets stuck underneath it lol.
