hi guys, not sure this is the exact forum for this question, but ive searched and cant find anything... (havent searched extensively....) but i was just wondering whether we have a thread on what to expect to pay for various cars (ie the civic eg, which im lookin at as a first car...) in good nick, average kms, no mods
so does anyone know? and secondly, does anyone know starting prices/what i could haggle to for an 94 civic GLi and Vti??? Thx!

start by looking on trading post and internet car sales sites. You can get an idea off that.

No point creating a thread because prices change every year.

The redbook is my enemy. That site may give you an extremely rough price, however, it certainly does not set the market value or your car or any cay.
There's too many factors for the price of a used vehicle, no second hand car is the same.

Exactly. You really have to look at what the market demands.....and the best way is the the trading post for that.

mmmkay all... thanks, i guess i shouldnt have asked the question, having done fairly extensive research.... i was hoping for some pointers to something i may have possibly missed... obviously not. thanks anyway!

Yeah mate, just look around through car yards, websites, papers and so forth. Get a good idea through that on what do pay, and form you own opinion on the matter.

fark paying in cash. doesnt make a difference unless your buying a sub $1000 shitter.
haggle as much as you can, get the price you are happy with,then talk about how you will pay them.
