Can someone tell me if the 96-98 EK Coupe body shape is the same as the EK (1999+)

It may be just me but it appears that the front is slightly different around the grill (not the front bar grill, but the one that sits below the bonnet and has the honda badge in the centre of it. It appears smaller) and between the headlights. This means that I am guessing the bonnet is slightly different.

There are two different coupes
Theres EJ8 - VTI coupe (older front style EK) and;
EM1 - VTI-R coupe (newer updated EK front)

Can you tell me if there is much involved in giving a 96-98 model a face lift to the newer VTI-r? Can I just go down to a wrecker and buy a front bar grill and bonnet?

no, u'll need to get a whole front cut to do the conversion..
the facelifted model has new headlights, new fenders, new bonnet, new front bumper..
maybe a new radiator support, but i'm not sure on that one..

You can get a CTR grill for in between the headlights though which looks pretty cool:thumbsup:

The front of the EM1 is very similar to the EK9, the EJ8 and the EM1 is similar too but the EM1 is obviously nicer :)

you do not need the radiator support switched out.

I have the front lip, just need the CTR grill. Where is the best place to get one? I have seen them all over the internet but is there a good place in Brissy to go for these at a good price painted?
