hey peepz got a K & N pod filter atm with my short ram intake
any idea to what would be a better filter to go,that wuld make the vtec scream harder :D
i have a 94 model vti civic hatch

What do you mean by "scream harder"? Louder? rev higher?
I have a mate with same model as you, we removed the air box and fitted a K&N pod on extended pipe right behind headlight. Sounds quite good and has a funny whistle as revs drop between gears, and definitely improved performance, but if it's the vtec sound of the angry cam coming on at 5800rpm you won't get it with that engine, only variable valve timing on D16(Y?) I think it's called.

just get a pod filter although defectable is the only way.:thumbsup:

Sorry just re-read your first post. CAI will get colder air= more power but quiter if anything.

No a different filter pod itself won't change volume noticably if at all.
