D16Y4 turn into VTEC ?

just wondering if this is true.. my mate rekonz that D16Y4 engine.. can be converted into SOHC vtec..

i wonder if this is true.. if so please let me know how..

yeah...cant u swap the head over to a vtec model head...like a mini me conversion. search for mini-me
