temp gauge very low. help

About a month ago i noticed my temp gauge was very low i.e the needle only just moving off C once the engine warmed and just reaching the start of the temprange. Also the heater wasn't working well... obviously my thermostat was shot!

Have replaced the thermostat and o ring, now the heater is working fine however the same prob continues with the temperature needle... it only just moves off C to the start of the range.

As i understand normal temp u should see the needle at around 1/4.

Any suggestions, ideas?

u can try a new temp sensor in the side of the head. i supposed ur thermofans are comming on ok?

if u cant figure it out and u wanna try changing the gauge ive got a spare one
