I recently put some dc2r dampers into my ED civic and they seem to be slightly too stiff. Are there any easy solutions to this? I was thinking of lower rate springs, as the car needs a drop of at least 2" anyway.

Also is there anywhere good where i can get some lower rate springs? most companies dont have rates listed...

Help me out :D

too stiff?
you mean F-22 R-18? or F-18,R-16?
if you won't wanna get such a stiff ones, why don't you try F-12,R-10 or lower?

its because the ED is so much lighter than the DC2R. You dont have as much force on the springs, hence it feels harder. All you can do is get some lower spring rates and hope it helps. But if you are lowering the car, I wouldn't go lower on the rates, as it will cause bottoming out

pgclee, I think he is talking about stock suspension, not aftermarket stuff. Therefore the spring rates are already fairly low

or maybe change all the bushings in the car to help absorb some of the shock as well... will feel stiff, but not rough - if you get my drift.
