weird noise in civic

hey guys, postin about the missus car again,

theres a really weird noise comes from the motor after you switch it off...

it fully sounds like a space ship landing like a woooooo sort of sound. or maby more l;iek when a turbo jet engine shuts own.... its spuns out just wondering if its happend to any of u, its a b16a motor in a eg hatch

my mums car had the same problem. Best i could put it down to was the aircon from the inside of the car. After we got it serviced it stopped doin it so my investigation ceased lol.

does she have a CAI??? Cause i love that sound with you turn off the engine.

yeah i get similar winding down noise when turning off the engine, pretty sure tis theCAI

I have a SRI, it makes a swooshing noise wen I turn off the car.

does it sound like a blow off valve lol.. i had this problem :P check that screw is in the throttle body to adjust the amount of air going in i think.. mine fell out and resulted in the sound of a blow off valve going off when i turned off the car
