Need Advice

My car is making ticking noises i'm thinking its tappets. Has ne one adjusted it them selves is it hard to do?
Or has ne 1 had it done at a mechanic? how much does it normally cost?
Oh n how much do gaskets cost for an eg civic?

Don't know if this is the same. But I had this problem in a previous car, it was the hydraulic lifters which needed to be replaced...If I remember correctly they were roughly $25-30 each to replace, however not all needed to be replaced. Got it done at the mechanic...hope this helps...

What gasket are you after?
How many km has your engine done? The noise you are describing does sound as if it is tappets, can’t remember exactly what it cost to have them adjusted.

oh ok, um the gasket that get change when you get the tappets done? not to sure on wat it is.
