Hi all,
I'm planning a B18C swap into an EF civic. I can source an engine package (engine, gearbox and loom) much cheaper than a complete half cut. I'm then planning on using integra 90-93 axles and the HCP mount kit (mounts, shift linkage, throttle cable bracket) and swapping the entire loom/ecu over.
Is there anything I really need from the halfcut that I won't get in the engine package? THe only thing I can think of is possably the radiator but that would be easy to source seperately.
I'm I making the converison lots more difficult by going down this route?
Finally has anyone had an experience with HCP mounts. I did a search and found nothing. THey don't seem as good as Hasport but still look reasonable and are about half the price.
