hi guys i was recently in an accident and the front part of the chasis (sp?) was damaged as shown in the picture.


i was wondering if this entire part here is removable at all as I plan to either replace that part or hammer it back to normal.
It doesn't look like it's welded to the chasis, so i've removed all the bolts but it wont budge...help please?

Thats the radiator support.

You can purchase new ones from wreckers or from places taht replicate parts.

And yes its removeable but i suggest u get a panel beater to fix that.

yup .. wat chi said... i did remove mine b4.... nth speical... just a few bolts and a bit of brute force.....

thisis a perfect example of why not to remove ur bumper support when u install an intercooler!!! checkout how much dage that saved.

See that big thick red bar in front of the radiator support?

Some people remove that in order to install a intercooler.

But in fact that actually could save ur life and engine.

In this case ur engine and radiator support.

ahh right i get it...yeh it did save me.

Can anyone give advice on removing that radiator support, it seems like i've removed all the screws and bolts but still cant move the radiator support there.!
