If the car is tied down with suitable suspension, tyres, underbody rear diffuser and front canards for track work, then I'd consider one for track only. I don't believe in putting something on my car that doesn't have the necessary support work done beforehand to make the mod worthwhile. If it doesn't function efficiently then I don't want it, BUT that's just me.:)

Could cause damage to ur boot lid if not designed and tested properly under high speeds.

Can crush teh boot lid due to extra downforce.

Got this friend who put a C-West GT wing on his 93 teg. Looked fkn awesome i reckon, suited his teg as well cuz his car was pretty much fully modded, engine and exterior.

I wanted one on my teg, I can picture it looking pretty hot. A black wing on a red teg. But not getting cuz if you ever plan on taking it off when selling your car then you'll have to patch up the holes :thumbdwn: :thumbdwn:

I think depends of the wing - if u get those stupid flat aluminium ones, then one..cos they look home made from floor boards. whereas if u get those sleek rounded carbon fibre ones (like the ones they use in D1), then that would look good. make sure u also have a wide body kit to accompany as well as some nice wheels.

have any of you guys read SPEED magazine? There are some neat cars on that.
I like the GT wing on a simple car with no crome rims or stickers and that stuff. Keep it simple and neat. I like the look of that type of jdm style

I think it looks shit house. The car allso looks way to high off the ground. Has it been lifted?

hehe agreed. Aftermarket taillights and GT wings look 'ok' on show cars that are slammed on massive wheels.

On a near stock ride height with small wheels it just looks plain ghey.

This was on the way back from a track day...

The car has adjustable coil-overs and is at an optimum height for the track... sorry if you're a ricer you'd just want it dumped but racers know you don't simply put a car on it's guts if you're looking for performance... I think the reason it looks high is you can't see the tires and wheels this thing is actually a very nice height...

Those "small" wheels are mugens... he has a set of 17" at home but you don't run 17" on the track unless they're really light weight...

The clear tail lights were not by choice someone has borrowed his and in exchange he's using their crappy tail lights...

ok you covered everything there.... EXCEPT THEY GHEY ASS GT WING:wave:

it ruins the line of the car, if he took it off it would look so much sleeker.

you can't pass the wing off at a performance mod man as it would need alot more than a b18c2 in it to require one

i dunno.... but if your ever going to get one, pay good money for a c-west wing, thats the only one i've seen on a ITR that looks right

don't get some $300 scrap metal one, they just look tacky and everyone in cabramatta has one

hahaha panda that's how i spell ghey :p

as for the GT wing it is a carbon one and i gave it to him from my old 200sx

it really is up to personal taste i prefer my typeR wing but he doesn't want a type R wing cos basically it's not a type R

we already have a friend who's dc2 is wingless so it's just something different from the rest...

yeah not a fan of the gt wing unless it was on some ultimate track spec mugen, spoon or similar. I do sort of like this sort of wing....

But still prefer Nil wing, just looks smoother.. :)

my friend with a yellow ITR just took his wing off recently, looks very clean. if your car is lowered it'll look even better.

that said, some wings look good, IMO, aluminium wings only look good in black, if you got $$ carbon fibre

Well I made my own Legs so I didn't have to drill any hole, just used the OEM holes & it's adjustable angle. Here's some pics.
http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/wetoddimage.wtdr/wOTYwOTA3NnM0MTNkZmQzMXk1NDE%3D.jpg

Plus it balances the CF bonnet.
http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/wetoddimage.wtdr/wOTYwOTAxNnM0MTNkZmQzMXk1NDE%3D.jpg

But yes, a flat undertray, would have more stabalizing affect than the wing. But for looks, The wing all the way.

you got a nice car OZ#227.
but IMO wingless is better.

i prefer the gtwings with the legs (technical lingo) closer together

but still, the CF looks hot

yeh but being able to use the factory holes is more important as the standard spoiler can be refitted without welding up the holes that you made in teh middle of your bootlid and respraying it.

I actually prefer your wing OZ, good thinking to use the factory holes
