I remember finding it on a US Honda forum about a year ago. Major bling bling :D did u see the rest of the garage on the second page. 32 GTR skyline series 6 RX7 and a EVO 7 lancer. The guy obviously has wayyy too much money :P

Most likely his got some car business and using those cars as a way to promote his business and claim back on tax. hehhe

But to have that much GTR, quite amazing!

almost sound like a trick question<laffz> if you would have ask "Did type r come in coupe"

wyn you are right abt the ITR being a coupe...as for the CTR -unfortunately not:)...it was born as a hatch and guess will be for a while:)

Ummm, technicality here

An Integra is a hatchback, not a coupe. The rear widow lifts up in the same piece as the bootlight - thus, she's a hatchback.

Same as a Nissan 180SX - thats basically the same idea, and that's a hatchback....

Sorry to be a wank, but its thrue, integras are not coupes

Interesting point McChook.

But in a civic hatch, the window lifts seperately to the tailgate?!? So what's the true definition of a hatch and a coupe?

And whats a liftback?

Might as well clear it up now :)

well by Mcchoock definition, it a fair comment that its a Hatch...but then again, i do know someone with a civic HB where by RTA classed it as coupe on her Rego...in fact it got a little amusing when she made an enquiry and was informed by RTA that if its 3 door its a coupe...but this RTA guy on the other line seemed like any other operator, so i shall pass this in as hearsay....although McChook point it somewhat right as well...

btw Wyn...the EK civic tailgate is a one piece with the rear glass...would you be referring to the eg's?

in an EG, yes, it opens separately. TECHNICALLY, tis can be classified as a wagon/panel van, but i believe it is still a HB.. a 3 door hatch. An integra is a tricky call, as it isn't a 3 door by definition..

Liftback isn;t used anymore, but that would be what they used to call integras, 180's, and celicas, excels... term not used anymore..

BASICALLY, the rules don't apply, but in this case, an integra is not a coupe....

anyway let go by RTA definition....could anyone with ek civic ,eg civic, prelude, ITR and integra pls have a look at your rego slip and see what it is classified:)

that way mystery solve:)

prelude = coupe....

In automotive terms any car with a rear window canted at a 45 degrees angle, and where the whole back opens up, is a hatch.

as said b4, Mcchook point is valid and in the sense of automotive,...however we are going via RTA clasification here to have a better gauge..unless you are the RTA<laffz>...just j/k

No offence to eknine but the RTA's classifying system is somewhat flawed. They have few categories for cars so its easy on their system.

My Civic Si is classified as a VTi on the rego papers, and my parent previous Ford Fairmont was classified as a Falcon.

So I wouldn't use the RTA as a guideline :)

We need to find some sort of automotive dictionary!

PS: Yes eknine, I was talking about the EG hatches.
