Rattling Cat

Hi guys the heat shield on my Cat is rattling heaps... it is like loose... and i have to get it weld back together... anyone know where a good place is near epping?

Before you spend money just check the bolts yourself as the heatshields are bolted together, they are not welded on last time I checked.

YEP ! do dat 1st...my exhaust was rattling after i got it put on...reason being simple as a spring bolt not screwed in jus dat lilbit hard enuf n it rattled wen i hit vtec...:thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

if its loose, do it yourself, no point taking it to somewhere and they charge you for sumfing you can do :D

hey guys thanx for the help... anyway i took it to some exhaust place... they had a look at it and then they chucked away the heat shield and said job done... no charge... they guy had a bad attitude... so no heat shield... would that cause too much heat coming from under the car? what u guys think?

heat shield only keep heat away from the body. I would of just had them reweld the heat shield.
