I got myself a perfectly working p13 ecu but the engine light keeps coming on when i drive for about 20mins. It flashes once quickly and pauses and then twice slowly.
I had the O2sensor changed but it still happens. Could it be the wiring of the harness? Any help would be grateful.

code 20 is eld

so far with a p13 the only way to get rid of this code is to fit the ****ing thing.

as for code 1, if your O2 sensor is fuctional, do a continuity test from your white wire of the O2 sensor to the D14 connector on your ecu ( third connector from left 7th wire in from left ).

if you have some kind of o2 sensor or lambda tester you should test for o2s singnal at this location. or else you sensor is rooted

What is eld? How do i fit it?

And what does continuity test mean and what is the effect of it?

And what do you mean by the sensor being rooted?

I know i ask a lot of questions... i'm just a bit lost lolz.

continuity test tests if there is a completed electrical circuit between the test points.

rooted is a technical term for inoperative

i just got the o2 sensor replaced... drove around for about 30mins and the engine light came on again. Same codes.

I think the wiring is a bit screwed up... there's a blue wire with red stripe soldered onto a yellow wire with blue stripe near the connector. Is this normal? Does anyone have a diagram of which colour wires go where?

fit the eld. i did it to mine but i think the eld is faulty!! we wired it up as per the wiring digrams from the prelude workshop manual and did the tests to see if it was wired up properly and it is but it sometimes comes on and sometimes it doesnt.

I havnt been bothered finding another eld and replace it to see if it fixes it.

The eld is not required is it? It doesn't effect the performance or anything with or without it right? My mechanic says its nothing... but im not sure if he's just being a rawting kunt.
