currently sitting on stockies 15" with 65mm rubber so that gives me a wheel diameter of 51.1cm. If i go up to 17" and only 40mm rubber the wheel diameter pretty much stays the same.

Thinking of going up to 18" at least, if not 19", but that would increase wheel diameter which I'm told is not legal and would make your speedo display inaccurate (as in you will be doing faster than what your speedo says due to larger wheels). Is it at all possible to get this engineered or at least re-calibrate the speedo at all?

you'll be able to get 18's which are very close to the stock rolling diameter (and probably 19's as well). And yeh if you wanna go bigger you can get the speedo recalibrated and the wheels engineered

dude.if you have say 195/65/15 standard then a 225 or 235 /40/18 should be good.

19" will look mad on accord...if you want the looks, go for 19" you won't regret it

i run 215/35 18 and they are bloody close to the factory 15's i also have - but they also have 50 series tyres on them
don't have any major dramas with the speedo - seems to be close to traffic speed - no faster or slower :)
