next time , keep the "title" open....IE " Honda bits plus more...look inside !".
That way , you can update it without the absolute need of updating the title.
Or , pre-empt the future items that you will want to sell and include a rough guide in the title.

ok sure they can do that when they know they will want to sell other items but as we know that isnt always the case.
is there a way they can change their own thread titles? coz i know for example i've made a spelling boo boo in the title before and it was really annoying not being able to change it without asking a mod.

well our system works fine for most people - the only people who complain about been unable to edit are those who "come into" many personal parts quite often:p
Oh , and afaik its impossible to enable normal members to edit titles etc - this abilty is reserved for mods and traders only ?!
If its such a hassle just PM a mod people ! Otherwise just think ahead :)

Yes good point.
If we can not make new threads for items that are for sale then the seller should have the ability to update his / her thread title. Recently Bennjamin erased a thread i made in the Marketplace and I was told to update the other thread i had open. However, I couldnt update the thread title. I believe only moderator/admin level access have those priveledges correct ?
However, what do we do if we have more items that we suddenly decide to sell ?
Its far easier to make a new thread than continually updating old ones and the hassle of changing thread titles.

Then you have the problem where a user will make like 6 new threads selling 6 different items so that everyone elses threads get pushed to the next page and disadvantaging the other users.
And yes, there are users who do that! :thumbdwn:
That is why we tell people to put all items in one thread. If however you post something new for sale a week or so on.....then it should be OK to make a new thread.

Thats the issue we have with multiple threads opened at once , and the Sale section spammed to the brim.
AFAIK there is no way to let individual members edit their own titles etc so simply either leave the title open , or PM a mod !

Yeah fair call but what would you recommend us to do if we have an item to be sold one week and then another item a week after that ?
