Yeah - it does matter. Put some octane booster in and keep the revs low for that tank.

Say no to octane booster, that stuff flows ya plugs !! thus you will need new plugs… Just drive like a grandma and keep filling up the fuel to dilutee the crappy fuel out of the system !
As suggested, some octane booster... I know of something called 'Octane 104' or something..
after running about half tank empty.. just top up with something 98 RON.
Also, don't run it past 5000 RPM on the regular petrol.
Although I'd think the Euro would have engine management smart enough to reduce it's timing to cope with the lower quality fuel.

You have voided your warrenty & you will probably need a new engine.
I suggest filling the remainder of your tank up with diesel.

Really? I have heard booster not recommended for continued use (ie every tank) - but never heard someone say it would be a problem for just one tank in an emergency.

The Euro comes with a knock sensor, if you can't find the minimum (95RON) for the car, you can temporarily put in regular (91RON) but do not do this as a long term...
Octane booster is not a long term solution to complimenting it with regular...
