As above wasn't working driver's side so pulled off door card the wire that bends and is attatched to lock ''wire'' that runs from lock to door broke - so door and lock still works but central didn't, so went to auto electrician and got another piece and wired it up. so far so good, working again. Put the door card back on and didn't work - wtf? the door card is putting pressure on the wire and stopping it from moving. any thoughts? tried trimming wire, moving brackets the lot! Any ideas would be helpful

hey,
i've had the same problem, you gotta find yourself a central locking motor that is thin..
instead of the big ones
because, yes the door trims make it very tight.
there must be other places we can put it, but if only someone showed me.
i've gone through 2 sets of motors.. :|

CBF fixin it

Yeah I just got the shits and took them both out, the thing that shat me off was that it worked until the wire got old and broke!! Good to see I'm not alone, and I can laugh about it

i got ma central locking fitted professionally by Straithfield. Had no dramas as yet. But i did notice quiet a fair bit of insulation tape wrapped around the Central Locking wire that goes to the Central locking motor. When i had to get ma door trims retrimmed.
mmmmmm
