Okay, if I want to repray my car and have the black plastic strips color matched to the rest of the car, what do I do with the mudflaps? I don't particularly think color matched mudflaps is a goer, so is it better to take them off or just leave them on, black?

PS - no kit.

It will look better if you take them off. But if you really wanna leave them on, dont spray them. Leave them black.

nah take em off before respraying ur car.

Then when ur car is done, spray the mudflaps gloss or matt black and put em back on!

Sorta blends the gap up between teh wheels and panels.

I reckon you should leave them on!

Just think... what's going to happen to all the stones and stuff thats on the road? it's going to flick up onto your car and could possible chip your paint.

I was contemplating taking my mudflaps off a while ago, until a fellow O.H member gave me the exact reason I mentioned above, so mine have stayed on.

I'd rather be safe than sorry in a way!

hmm thats what ma grandma would probably say.. grandson.. leave 'em on! dun wanna get dents and shit aye. no point lookin' all fierce and nasty without mudflaps and end up with chipped panels. Think FAR! Don't be narrowminded!

hahaa..

Took mine out a few weeks back anyways. Mudflaps are too heavy! plus they add wind resistence! I feel 10hp faster now.

Stones > paint chips > water > RUST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
