fuel tank's interchangable?

after many different answers from various people, can someone please confirm whether a eg hatch fuel tank is the same as an ek hatch tank?? can one be used in the other??

i rang 5 lazy honda dismantlers today and none of them could get off there fat lazy asses and check.

the wreckers don't have a clue on anything.
try calling honda dealer parts dept and see what they get on their computer.

otherwise i have found honbits in syd a lil more reliable than melb wreckers when it comes to knowledge of interchanging parts

JP, according to my "ex" mechanic, Garret has an EK fuel tank in his EG.

So if he is on the ball then your answer is yes.

Ive "heard" (someone please confirm) eg/ek/dc2 all share the same fuel tank. Once again i cannot confirm this but it is something i heard from a source i cant remember.
