i dont know much about this sort of stuff but i went to a place a while back to get this done..

the guy said for the price you pay getting it done you get very little performance gain so its not worth it.

more flow > more air > more combustion > more power.

its very technical how it makes more power, but to be put simple, it makes the air flow faster, and smoother without turbulence into the cylinder. thus gains abit more power

Our porting starts at around $500 for a very basic setup so the more you spend the more you will get done.

Got a price from a local place up here and for just a head shave for compression your looking at around $60. Without labour.

And like Dave said, around $500 starters for P&P.
