you should be able to just use your original wiring and globes.

yeah, and use amber bulbs for the indicators. Or, if yours are like mine and slightly illegal, and have a red indicator section, use green bulbs to make them flash orange.

Yep, make sure your indicators arent red, I had this problem too. And as said, just swap all the stock globes over to your new altezzas.

Hey all...

While on altezas I have one question...

I am ordering some from Trav (underground imports) and they have clear indicators, I would have to find and orange globe for this...right?

Is it best to add a bead of some water tight silicon around the edge to stop any potential water getting in?

are you referring to clear side indicators?
If so, yes you will need orange globes for them. And you wont need to add silicon, I personally have not heard of that being an issue before.

Fair enough, Id be spending that little bit extra, (which isnt much at all, as mine weren't expensive) and being safe

i bought mine from an australian company, only 220 bucks. Tho they are the crappy ones, with red indicators, as mentioned above. They told me that it didnt have red indicators, and thinking it was an australian company i thought id be fine. But obviously they were just buyin em off othe cheap places.

Most of them are basically the same, just coming through different suppliers.

the altezza's look hot but they dont fit properly.

it stick out abit from the side.

is there any way of bending the plastic?

heating it may work, my instinct would be calling the seller and returning them however.

yeah mine didnt fit exactly either. I just loosened off all the bolts, then did them back up again in order so that it all sat well. All is good now. Ive done every trick using cheap dodgy tail lights haha. silicon seal, green bulbs, right down to filing the part where you screw the bulbs in so they fit right. Yes, VERY cheap altrezzas! lol they look ok tho.

most of the cheap tail lights come from the same place, SONAR is the brand, it will be on most ebay lights and some of the traders also sell them. but u will pay more from a trader. with the traders and ebay items no difference all the same, a mate got some from a trader for his accord and now the chrome in the housing is rusting, and it also foggs up with water, we found that if you drill some drain hole it wont fog up, cause look at ur oem headlight or tail light and u will notic that it is not fully sealed.
